Rootstocks

Name	Description
SO4	A moderately vigorous to vigorous rootstock, suited mainly to fresh, slightly moister and also sandy soils. It moderately tolerates limestone and drought, but copes poorly with prolonged water shortage.
KOBER 5BB	A very vigorous rootstock suited to fertile, heavier and moister soils. It tolerates limestone well but drought only moderately. On very fertile sites it can cause excessive vine growth.
110 Richter	A vigorous rootstock with good drought resistance, making it suitable for dry, stony and less fertile soils. It also tolerates moderate limestone well, but can slightly delay grape ripening.
1103 Paulsen	A very vigorous, deep-rooting rootstock with very good resistance to drought and salt. Suited to dry, stony, clay and limestone soils, but does not tolerate waterlogging.
